Taylor started her YouTube career by making ASMR videos using her phone. PewDiePie utilized her video for one of his games shortly when Taylor had 50,000 followers around 1 1/2 months since she posted her first. After two months and close to 100,000 subscribers Taylor stopped producing work for her Youtube channel. She also put all of her videos on private. The reason for this was issues with the new equipment and being overwhelmed by the popularity of her channel. After a month long break and a few months of making new videos, she started and uploaded videos again, among them the famous ASMR 10 Triggers To Help You sleep (35 million views by the month of August, 2022). ASMR Twenty Triggers for Sleep the video, which became highly popular during July of 2017, is now viewed by over 38 million people as of August 20, 2012. In August 2017, she was interviewed in Shane Dawson's video. Shortly after, she was able to reach a million YouTube subscribers. Wired UK reported that in February 2019 she earned $1000 per day from ads on her YouTube channel
Dennis Helfer along with Elaine Helfer are the parents of Helfer. Her heritage includes German, English. Swedish, and Norwegian. She went to in the William E. Hay Composite High School situated within Stettler (Alberta). The three sisters she had, Tammy, Tara and Trena resided and worked on their farm with her family. When she was 17 years old, a scout for models of an agency came across Helfer when he was waiting at the front of a line for entry into a cinema.
